Darwin told a story about how one guy once came to this very park with the intention of just going for a late night run. He was a pretty famous guy and very well known in the community, so on his run he was noticed and greeted by many. However, earlier that morning was when things really took a turn for the worse. He was nowhere to be found, and officially reported missing within a few hours in the early morning. Though we don’t know what exactly happened that night on his run, rumor says that there was something or someone in this forest taking people and eating them alive. That story left everyone terrified and unwilling to sleep and make themselves vulnerable while a human-killing monster was possibly lying among them. As We fought to stay awake We began to hear eerie and concerning noises coming from the dense forest surrounding us. This caused somewhat of a panic to arise in the group, especially since We were already on high alert after hearing Darwin’s true story. Darwin, of course, was sleeping while everyone else was freaking out and not knowing what to do about what We heard and were continuing to hear.
